The Moroccan U17 national team begins its campaign in the U17 Africa Cup of Nations this Wednesday, May 13, 2026, with a first match against Tunisia. This opening fixture, held at the Moulay El Hassan Stadium, marks the start of the Atlas Cubs’ journey in a competition hosted on home soil.
For this debut, Tiago Lima Pereira has revealed his starting eleven. Morocco will start with El Maach, Tahri, Soudi, Zinbi, Bentaleb, El Aoud, Ibn Salah, Hadidi, Ellaky, Rabbaj, and El Boujjoufi. Captain of this squad, El Aoud will wear the armband to lead his teammates in this first Maghreb derby.
