Ilyes Housni is set to continue his career with AS Nancy Lorraine. The Moroccan forward, trained at Paris Saint-Germain, is expected in Lorraine where he should sign with ASNL, a club competing in Ligue 2.
At 21 years old, Housni comes from a stint at Havre AC, where he was loaned by PSG during the 2024-2025 season. The Normandy club officially announced his arrival on loan, with an option to buy, in August 2024. After this experience in Ligue 1, the U23 Moroccan international is now looking to reignite his progression in an environment where he could benefit from more playing time.
Considered a mobile offensive profile, capable of playing centrally, Ilyes Housni remains a player with high potential. His journey within the Parisian training system has allowed him to gain solid experience at the youth level, particularly with PSG’s U19s, before stepping into the professional world.
For AS Nancy Lorraine, this arrival would represent an interesting boost offensively. The Lorraine club, which is preparing its squad for the 2026-2027 season, could provide the Moroccan with a conducive environment to take a new step and regain positive momentum.
Unless there is a turnaround, Ilyes Housni is therefore expected to open a new chapter in his career by joining ASNL, with the ambition to gain consistency and establish himself in a demanding league.
