A versatile player, Targhalline can operate in multiple midfield positions but prefers a more defensive role. His arrival aims to increase competition in the midfield, particularly in the defensive midfield position, where Feyenoord lacks depth.
Trained at the Mohammed VI Academy, the Moroccan joined Olympique de Marseille before being loaned to Alanyaspor in Turkey, then transferred to Le Havre in 2022. Since arriving in Ligue 1, he has played 42 matches for Le Havre, including 14 this season (12 starts and 2 substitute appearances).
Capped once for the Moroccan national team, Targhalline was under contract with Le Havre until 2025. His market value is estimated at three million euros on Transfermarkt.
