After a convincing draw against Brazil (1-1) in their opening match of the 2026 World Cup, Morocco returns to the competition with a crucial encounter. The Atlas Lions face Scotland in the night from Friday, June 19 to Saturday, June 20, as part of the second matchday of Group C.

Against a Scottish team that won against Haiti (1-0) in their first match, Walid Regragui’s men will have the opportunity to move closer to the Round of 16 with a victory.

What time is Morocco – Scotland?

The kickoff for the match will be at 00:00 (French time) in the night from Friday, June 19 to Saturday, June 20, 2026.

In Morocco, the match will start at 23:00 on Friday, June 19.

On which channels to watch the match?

Fans can follow the match live on several international broadcasters:

    • France: M6 and beIN Sports 1
    • Morocco: Arryadia and beIN SPORTS Arabia
    • Belgium: Tipik, VRT 1, Proximus Pickx and Sporza platforms
    • Netherlands: NPO 1, Ziggo GO, VRT 1 and Canal+ Netherlands

An important duel in the qualification race

Thanks to their draw against Brazil, Morocco has shown that it can compete with the best national teams in the world. Solid defensively and tactically disciplined, the Atlas Lions approach this second matchday with confidence.

On the other side, Scotland has perfectly launched its World Cup campaign by winning against Haiti. With three points on the board, the Scots temporarily lead Group C and will seek to take a big step towards qualification.

For Morocco, a victory would seriously position them for the Round of 16 ahead of the final group match. Achraf Hakimi and his teammates will, however, need to be wary of an organized and efficient Scottish team, which has already proven its ability to handle important matches.

In a particularly competitive group, this confrontation could already prove decisive for the future of the Atlas Lions in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
