The Court of Arbitration for Sport has not yet issued any decision regarding the dispute between Senegal and Morocco following the final of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025. The Lausanne-based body has thus denied information circulated in recent days on social media, announcing a verdict favorable to the Senegalese Football Federation.

According to information relayed by RTS Sénégal, the arbitration procedure is still ongoing and no final ruling has been made. Documents presented online as official statements from the CAS should therefore not be considered authentic.

The case concerns the appeal filed by the Senegalese Federation against the decision made on March 17, 2026, by the CAF Appeals Jury. This jury had declared Senegal to be forfeited and recorded the final score as 3-0 in favor of Morocco. The CAS officially confirmed receipt of the appeal on March 25, without announcing a specific timeline for the hearing or the publication of its decision.

Morocco remains recognized as the winner of the match based on the current decision in effect from CAF. The situation can only evolve after the official publication of the ruling from the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
