Younes Taha joins FC Twente.
FC Twente has successfully secured the talented Younes Taha, beating Union Saint-Gilloise in the race for his signature. Taha, who shone last season with PEC Zwolle, was on the verge of joining the Belgian club for a fee of around 1 million euros. However, FC Twente ultimately reached an agreement with Zwolle for a transfer slightly above 1 million euros. The 20-year-old player, who was developed at FC Volendam, will sign a four-season contract with the Dutch club.
This recruitment is part of FC Twente’s desire to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season. Taha joins Youri Regeer, who is also on the verge of finalizing his transfer from Ajax. With these two young talents, Twente aims to build a competitive team. Taha, a U23 international, had an excellent season with the Dutch club PEC Zwolle, scoring 14 goals and providing two assists in 33 matches. His arrival at FC Twente is a strong signal of the club’s ambition for the future.
