Hamburger SV is not giving up on the Zakaria El Ouahdi pursuit. After having its first two proposals rejected by KRC Genk, the German club is now preparing a third offer, described as decisive, in an attempt to recruit the Moroccan international.
The previous offers did not meet Genk’s financial demands. The Belgian club is not opposed to the departure of their right-back but is expecting a sum of around 15 million euros to agree to his release.
This third proposal could help bridge the gap between the two clubs. El Ouahdi is also in favor of a transfer to Hamburg, which is actively looking to strengthen its right side before the transfer window closes.
However, no agreement has yet been announced. Under contract with Genk until June 2028, the Moroccan remains a player for the Belgian club, while Hamburg is preparing to make another attempt.
