Stade de Reims has officially announced the arrival of Youssef El Kachati from NEC Nijmegen. The 26-year-old Moroccan-Dutch forward has signed with the Red and Whites until 2028, marking a new chapter in his career after his time in the Netherlands.
Trained between Noordwijk and Sparta Rotterdam, El Kachati gradually built his path in Dutch football before making a name for himself with Quick Boys and then SC Telstar. In the 2024-2025 season, he notably stood out with 19 goals and 6 assists in the league, and shone in the playoffs with 5 goals in 6 matches.
His time at NEC Nijmegen allowed him to experience the Eredivisie. Despite limited playing time, the Moroccan forward maintained an interesting efficiency, with Stade de Reims highlighting that he was decisive on average every 84 minutes during his appearances.
In the club’s statement, Youssef El Kachati expressed his satisfaction after signing: “Joining Stade de Reims represents a significant step in my career. It’s a historic club with a great reputation in French football, and I am grateful for the trust the Club has placed in me. I look forward to helping the team achieve its goals and experiencing great moments with our supporters.”
With this reinforcement, Reims is counting on a mobile, instinctive striker who is effective in the box.
