Younes Idder took an important step in his young career by playing his first minutes with the Paris Saint-Germain first team on Wednesday during a friendly match against RCD Mallorca.
The 18-year-old Moroccan attacking midfielder came on in the 60th minute, replacing Ibrahim Mbaye. At the time of his appearance, PSG was already trailing 3-0, with Mallorca having scored their third goal just after the 51st minute.
Despite a challenging context and a match largely dominated by the Spanish side, Younes Idder was able to experience professional level play and had about thirty minutes to showcase his abilities to the Parisian staff. The young Moroccan was among the many academy players called up for this first preparatory match.
PSG ultimately lost 3-0 to the Balearic club. Nevertheless, this first appearance remains a significant milestone for Younes Idder, who will aim to take advantage of the summer preparation to secure new opportunities with the professional squad.
