Yanis Begraoui remains on Lazio’s radar. The Italian club is considering the Moroccan forward from Estoril to replace Boulaye Dia, who is likely to join Stade Rennais before the transfer window closes.
The situation directly depends on the future of the Senegalese international. Dia is said to have already reached an agreement with Rennes on personal terms, but the two clubs still need to come to an agreement. Lazio is reportedly asking for around 15 million euros to release their striker.
According to Foot Mercato, Begraoui remains one of the options being explored by the Roman club in the event of Dia’s departure. However, no agreement or offer has been made to Estoril at this time. The Portuguese club is asking for around 12 million euros to part with their 25-year-old player.
After scoring 20 goals in the league last season, Begraoui has established himself as one of the most effective forwards in Portuguese football. A move to Lazio would allow him to experience Serie A, but this possibility is currently contingent upon the outcome of negotiations between Rennes and the Italian club regarding Boulaye Dia.
