Thiago Pitarch has not yet made a decision. Courted by both Morocco and Spain, the young midfielder of Real Madrid confirmed in a statement to beIN SPORTS that he has still not decided on his international future.
The 18-year-old player acknowledged that he is still contemplating his options, while suggesting that a resolution could come soon. He also revealed that he regularly discusses this topic with Brahim Diaz, highlighting the support he receives from his Madrid teammate, who is thriving in the colors of Morocco.
Born in Spain and with Moroccan roots, Thiago Pitarch represents one of the new cases closely monitored by the FRMF. Having played for Moroccan youth teams before joining Spanish selections, the midfielder continues to progress at the highest level. His recent appearances with Real Madrid have only intensified the interest from both federations, each hoping to convince him to commit to their sporting project.
This situation naturally recalls that of Brahim Diaz, who also wore the Spanish colors in youth competitions before ultimately choosing Morocco. For now, Thiago Pitarch is keeping all options open. His decision is now eagerly awaited, both in Spain and Morocco, where his profile is seen as that of a player who could make a significant impact in the years to come.
