Free since the end of his time at Le Havre, Sofiane Boufal is currently maintaining his physical condition in Marseille. The 32-year-old Moroccan international is training individually in a private gym near the Stade Vélodrome and regularly runs in the area. He is not working with the OM group at La Commanderie.
According to Le Phocéen, Boufal would be very open to the possibility of continuing his career under the Marseille jersey. The player would be willing to accept a financially accessible contract as well as a supporting role within the squad.
His contractual freedom, knowledge of Ligue 1, and ability to play on the wings as well as in the center could make him a low-cost opportunity. This possibility could be considered if Marseille manages to reduce its wage bill before the transfer window closes.
At this stage, however, no direct contact has been established between OM and Sofiane Boufal’s entourage. No offer or negotiation is currently underway, and the Moroccan is therefore not yet a serious option for the Phocaean club. His supposed interest in the Marseille project is real, but any potential move now depends on an initiative from OM.
