Reda Belahyane reportedly declined a financially significant offer from Al-Ittihad. The Saudi club sought to obtain a loan for the Moroccan midfielder, but he would prefer to continue his career in Serie A with Lazio.
Under contract with the Roman club until June 2029, the Atlas Lion intends to keep playing at the highest European level. This decision comes as Lazio remains willing to consider offers for their player during this summer transfer window.
Belahyane is currently participating in the preparation of the Biancocelesti. The Moroccan notably made an impact by scoring during the victory against Avellino (6-3) on August 1, before contributing to the action of the winning goal scored against Ascoli (2-1) the following day.
Despite these encouraging performances, his future in Rome remains uncertain. Lazio could still consider his departure if a satisfactory offer is made. However, the reported refusal of Al-Ittihad would indicate the 22-year-old’s desire to continue his journey in the Italian league.
