In the 18th round of La Liga, Real Madrid secured a convincing 4-2 victory over Sevilla. Moroccan international Brahim Díaz played a key role, scoring his team’s fourth goal.

From the outset, the Madrid players imposed their tempo. Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring in the 10th minute, followed by a goal from Federico Valverde in the 20th minute. Before halftime, Rodrygo extended the lead to 3-0. Sevilla managed to reduce the gap through Isaac Romero, but Real Madrid’s dominance remained evident.

After the break, in the 53rd minute, Kylian Mbappé delivered a perfectly timed assist to Brahim Díaz. The latter, with a precise left-footed strike, sent the ball into the top-right corner, making it 4-1. Sevilla, however, did not give up, with Dodi Lukebakio scoring in the 85th minute to bring the score to 4-2.

In addition to scoring, the performance of Brahim Díaz in this game, especially his contribution to the actions of the 1st and 3rd goals, highlights his growing importance within the Madrid squad. His chemistry with world-class players like Kylian Mbappé strengthens Real Madrid’s attack, positioning them second in the standings, just one point behind Atlético Madrid.

Real Madrid ends 2024 on a high note, boosting their ambitions for the remainder of the season.
