Real Madrid is on the verge of signing Rayan Zinebi, a young Moroccan forward belonging to Granada CF. According to Rodra, an ESPN journalist specializing in news about the Madrid club, the 19-year-old player is expected to initially join Castilla. However, no amount or contractual details have yet been disclosed.
Having passed through AE Prat before joining Granada, Zinebi mainly played with Recreativo Granada during the last season. His performances also allowed him to experience the first team. On March 22, he made his debut in the Spanish second division, coming on in the 81st minute during the victory against Real Sociedad B (2-0).
In Madrid, the center forward would strengthen a Castilla team engaged in Primera Federación. The merengue club seems to want to invest in the potential of a player still in full development, but who already has some experience in Spanish professional football.
Zinebi is currently with the Moroccan under-20 national team preparing for the Mediterranean Games, held in Taranto from August 21 to September 3. Morocco will face Turkey, Tunisia, and North Macedonia in the group stage. The operation is now pending finalization and an official announcement from both clubs.
