Othmane Maamma continues to attract attention in the transfer market. The Moroccan international winger from Watford is now on the radar of FC Porto and Bologna, just a few days before the summer transfer window closes.
According to information from L’Équipe, FC Porto is closely monitoring the situation of the 20-year-old Moroccan, while Bologna has recently inquired about him. The Italian club may decide to move forward with the deal in the final days of the market.
Watford may be open to discussions if a satisfactory offer is made. A deal around 10 million euros is being mentioned for Maamma, who remains under contract with the Hornets until June 2029. At this stage, however, no official offer from Porto or Bologna has been announced.
The two clubs thus join a well-stocked list of suitors. Crystal Palace, Everton, and Benfica had notably expressed their interest during the summer. The Moroccan’s performances have significantly boosted his market value, especially after the U20 World Cup won with Morocco, at the end of which Maamma was named the tournament’s best player.
As the transfer window approaches its closure, the future of the Moroccan winger is therefore one of the key issues to watch from Watford’s side.
