Moroccan midfielder Neil El Aynaoui arrived in Rome this Saturday to finalize his transfer to AS Roma. An agreement has been reached with RC Lens for a fee of €23 million, plus €2 million in bonuses.

Aged 22, El Aynaoui is set to sign a five-year contract with the Italian capital club. A breakout star of the season in Ligue 1 with Lens, he is now ready to discover Serie A under the guidance of Gian Piero Gasperini, who was appointed AS Roma’s head coach in June 2025.

Barring any last-minute twist, the Moroccan international will be wearing the Giallorossi colors this summer. A promising signing for Roma, who are looking to strengthen their midfield.
