The Moroccan U17 national team bounced back after their 1-0 defeat against the Czech Republic, winning their second match of the 2025 Antalya Youth Cup against Uzbekistan by the same scoreline, 1-0.

The Young Lions, who are continuing their preparation for the U17 Africa Cup of Nations final phase scheduled in Morocco from March 30 to April 19, 2025, showed great resilience in this match. After their first loss, where they failed to find the back of the net, the players under Nabil Baha’s guidance responded with a strong performance. They secured the win thanks to a goal from striker Ilyass Hidaoui in the 37th minute and a penalty save by goalkeeper Chouaib Bellaarouch.

The match took place on the pitch of the Arslan Zeki Demirci Stadium in Antalya, giving the young Moroccans a chance to fine-tune their preparations ahead of the continental competition. With this victory, Morocco’s U17s have proven that they are ready to face the challenges ahead.
