The national team of Morocco A’, led by Tarik Sektioui, continues to send strong signals as the Arab Cup 2025 approaches. Three days after their resounding 6-0 victory against Djibouti, the A’ team did it again, this time winning decisively 7-0 against the same opponent.

The match quickly turned in favor of the Atlas Lions. Marouane Loudani opened the scoring in the 21st minute, followed by Karim El Berkaoui doubling the lead in the 36th minute. After the break, Sektioui’s men accelerated: Walid Azaro (48th minute) and Oussama Tannane (58th minute) widened the gap, confirming Morocco’s total dominance. Substituted in during the game, Abderrazak Hamdallah scored the fifth goal in the 63rd minute, while the particularly lively Hamza Hannouri netted a brace (61st, 78th) to seal the score.

This new success reinforces the momentum of a group that is actively preparing for the Arab Cup, scheduled from November 25 to December 18, 2025. While the weakness of today’s opponent invites a degree of caution regarding the significance of the result, Morocco nonetheless advances with confidence: collective solidity, offensive efficiency, and extensive squad rotation provide encouraging signs for the future.

The Atlas Lions already know one of their Group B members, Saudi Arabia, but will have to wait to discover their two other opponents. The playoffs will determine the matchup between Oman or Somalia on one side, and Yemen or Comoros on the other. The verdict is expected on November 26, just hours before the tournament begins.

A tight schedule, a confident team: all indicators seem positive for Morocco A’ as they aim to present themselves with ambition on the Arab stage.
