Pyramids FC will have to cope without Mohamed Chibi for their match against Power Dynamos this Saturday, February 14, 2026, during the 6th and final day of the group stage of the CAF Champions League (Group A). The Moroccan right-back is sidelined due to a cold, as explained by coach Krunoslav Jurčić on the eve of the match.
Already qualified for the quarter-finals, the Egyptian club approaches this final match with the aim of finishing at the top and maintaining a positive momentum ahead of the knockout stages. Pyramids moves forward with the confidence of a solid leader, but managing the squad remains a top priority during this busy period.
In a press conference, Jurčić justified Chibi’s rest as a medical and precautionary decision: the player, affected by a cold, has been ruled out to ensure full recovery. This absence forces the staff to adjust the right flank, while also providing an opportunity for rotation in a match where Pyramids wants to remain serious until the end.
