Juventus Turin is considering the possibility of signing Yassine Bounou during the summer transfer window. In search of an experienced goalkeeper to strengthen their defensive line, the Italian club has reportedly listed the Moroccan international among their main options, particularly after deeming the pursuit of Emiliano Martinez too expensive.
According to information reported by Al Jazeera Sports, the Turin management believes that a deal around 9 million euros could attract the 35-year-old goalkeeper. However, no agreement has been announced between the parties, and Juventus has not officially confirmed its interest.
The situation is particularly complex as Bounou is contracted with Al-Hilal until June 2028. The Saudi club extended his contract by two additional seasons in October 2025, confirming the significant role played by the Atlas Lion in their sporting project.
After finishing the 2025-2026 season in sixth place in Serie A and failing to qualify for the Champions League, Juventus aims to reshape its squad to return to the top positions in the Italian league. Bounou’s European experience, having played notably for FC Sevilla and being a two-time Europa League winner, would represent a major asset. However, any potential return to Europe will depend on Al-Hilal’s willingness and the Bianconeri’s ability to present a sufficiently convincing offer.
