The future of Sofyan Amrabat remains at the center of discussions at Fenerbahçe. As the Turkish club continues to restructure its squad, the Moroccan international is among the players likely to leave Istanbul during this summer transfer window.
According to TRT Spor, Al-Ittihad has recently expressed interest in the 29-year-old midfielder. The Saudi club reportedly made a verbal offer to Fenerbahçe close to 15 million euros, including bonuses. However, this amount is still below the expectations of the Istanbul management, which is demanding 20 million euros net to release the Lion of the Atlas.
So far, the official offers received by Fenerbahçe have not exceeded 10 million euros. Discussions are still ongoing with a Saudi club as well as two European clubs, although their identities have not been disclosed.
On loan at Real Betis last season, Amrabat is also keeping an eye on the position of the Andalusian club. The Sevilla leaders appreciate his profile but do not wish to disrupt their salary structure. Therefore, no serious steps have yet been taken to attempt to retain him permanently.
