Couhaib Driouech shared his first impressions after signing a contract with Celta Vigo until 2030. Excited to discover La Liga, the Moroccan winger sees the Galician club as the ideal environment to continue his development and reach a new level.
“I am very happy to be here and very excited to join Vigo and Celta. I have heard very nice stories about this club,” he said. The former PSV Eindhoven player now wants to showcase his skills in his new colors and “experience great moments” with his teammates.
When asked about his profile, Driouech described himself as an offensive player capable of creating chances, scoring, and providing assists. He also emphasized his off-the-ball involvement: “I like to work hard. The team can count on me, both for attacking and defending.”
The Moroccan also has big collective ambitions. He hopes to help Celta secure a top position in La Liga and go as far as possible in the Europa League. “I will try to give my all for the club and for the colors of the city,” he concluded, aiming to see the supporters arrive and leave the stadium with a smile.
