Back in training with Real Madrid after his journey with Morocco during the 2026 World Cup, Brahim Díaz is already showcasing his ambitions for the new season. The Moroccan international, who is set to play his fifth season in the Madrid colors, expressed his happiness at reuniting with his teammates and getting back to work.
After reaching the quarter-finals of the World Cup with the Atlas Lions, where he provided four assists, Brahim resumed training on Monday at Valdebebas. The 27-year-old praised the intensity of the initial preparation sessions.
“The training sessions are going well. They are very physical, with a lot of effort and intensity. This helps us prepare well for the season and reach our best level,” he explained to Real Madrid TV.
Brahim Díaz also spoke about José Mourinho’s expectations. The Portuguese coach particularly emphasizes collective commitment and off-the-ball work.
“He asks us to be intense. We have a lot of individual qualities and we can make a difference, but the work is very important. He wants us to sacrifice for each other and form a real team,” said the Moroccan international.
Despite increased competition in the attacking sector, Brahim intends to fight for an important place in the Madrid squad.
“I want to be at 100% and help the team. I will give my best in every match. Collectively, the most beautiful thing is to win titles. We are at Real Madrid and we must win trophies,” he added.
The Lion of the Atlas also claims to be going through a particularly positive period personally.
“I am very happy and I want to continue enjoying myself on the pitch. Football is my passion. Everything is going very well in my personal life, with my family and my wife,” concluded Brahim Díaz.
