Brahim Díaz continues in Mourinho’s starting eleven

Brahim Díaz continues to gain the trust of José Mourinho. Four days after helping Real Madrid secure a victory against Deportivo La Coruña (1-0), the Moroccan international was once again named in the starting lineup this Sunday during the win against Schalke 04 (3-0), in the last preparatory match for the Madrid team.

Positioned on the right side of the attack, the Atlas Lion played alongside Arda Güler, Vinicius Junior, and Kylian Mbappé. He was diligent in his defensive work but more subdued offensively, and he was substituted for Yan Diomande in the 61st minute. By that time, Real had already secured their victory thanks to goals from Mbappé (6th), Dean Huijsen (20th), and Carlos Espí (57th).

This appearance in the starting eleven marks his third consecutive start since returning to training. This is a significant continuity as competition is expected to be particularly fierce in the Madrid offensive sector, especially with Diomande, Bernardo Silva, Arda Güler, and Endrick.
