Rumors sending Brahim Díaz to Turkey were quickly cooled by the president of Beşiktaş. While several Turkish media outlets had recently reported an interest from the Istanbul club in the Moroccan international, Sardar Adalı sought to clarify the situation.
When asked about this matter, the Beşiktaş leader was categorical: “We are not working on the Brahim Díaz case.” This statement puts an end, at least for now, to the speculation regarding discussions between the two parties.
In recent days, several Turkish journalists had claimed that Beşiktaş was closely monitoring the situation of the Real Madrid player. Some even mentioned initial contacts, in a context where the club was looking to strengthen its attacking line before the transfer window closed.
However, Sardar Adalı’s statement constitutes the first official denial from the Beşiktaş management. To date, there is no evidence to confirm the existence of negotiations between the Turkish club and Brahim Díaz’s entourage, whose future remains tied to Real Madrid despite the numerous transfer rumors surrounding him for several weeks.
