The future of Azzedine Ounahi could be written far from Girona. Hull City, Ipswich Town, and Al-Ittihad have intensified their efforts to recruit the Moroccan international before the summer transfer window closes, reports Mundo Deportivo.
The two English clubs wish to make progress on the matter, while Al-Ittihad offers the midfielder a possible exit in Saudi Arabia. However, the Catalan media does not report, at this stage, any financial offer or agreement between the various parties.
Already mentioned among the contenders, Ajax Amsterdam has also rekindled its interest in recent days. The presence of Míchel is an asset for the Dutch club as the coach knows Ounahi well from having managed him at Girona. The Atlas Lion would place particular importance on the sporting project before choosing his next destination.
Recruited by Girona in August 2025 and under contract until June 2030, Ounahi remains an important player on the market. His transfer would allow the Catalan club to recover a fee and create additional room within their squad. With four contenders now positioned, the matter could quickly enter a decisive phase.
