Azzedine Ounahi: the exact amount of the Panathinaikos offer revealed

The financial terms of the latest offer made by Panathinaikos for Azzedine Ounahi are now known. The Greek club proposed Girona a paid loan of 2 million euros, accompanied by a purchase obligation set at 13 million, making a total operation of 15 million euros.

These amounts were revealed by Iván Quirós, a journalist following the news of the Catalan club. A few minutes earlier, Nil Solà had indicated that Girona was rejecting the proposals deemed insufficient by Panathinaikos. The Spanish management is reportedly asking for around 20 million euros, adding the fixed amount and potential bonuses.

At the time of this publication, Panathinaikos had not submitted any new offer after the rejection of its proposal. There was still a gap of about 5 million euros separating the two clubs. However, the closure of the Spanish transfer window does not prevent Girona from selling the player to Greece, where the transfer period remains open.

This information does not match the version previously put forward by Foot Mercato, which mentioned a verbal agreement accompanied by a purchase obligation of 25 million euros. In the absence of a definitive agreement or official confirmation, the file remains open and Ounahi remains under contract with Girona until June 2030.
