UD Almería is seriously interested in Yanis Begraoui to strengthen its attacking line. The Spanish club has reportedly initiated initial contacts to understand the conditions for a potential transfer of the Moroccan forward from Estoril Praia.
After scoring 20 goals in the Portuguese league last season, the 25-year-old has established himself as one of the most effective forwards in Liga Portugal. His performances have naturally attracted the attention of several European clubs, as Almería is currently looking for a new striker capable of providing an immediate offensive guarantee.
Begraoui is under contract with Estoril until June 2028 and has a release clause set at 10 million euros. However, the Andalusian club is reportedly willing to negotiate with the Portuguese team in an attempt to reach an agreement below the amount of this clause.
Almería will, however, have to contend with competition from Millwall. The Championship club is also monitoring the situation of the Moroccan international and could make a move during this transfer window. After reviving his career in Portugal, Begraoui could thus be one of the most sought-after Moroccan players as the transfer market comes to a close.
