    Ait Boudlal decisive against Strasbourg

The Stade Rennais made a strong impression during the 11th round of Ligue 1, winning 4-1 against Strasbourg. This decisive score was marked by the contribution of young Moroccan defender, Abdelhamid Ait Boudlal.

Beyond his defensive roles, Ait Boudlal was pivotal in the second Rennes goal (Mohamed Meïté, 39′), thanks to his positioning and aerial effectiveness. From a cross into the box, Abdelhamid Ait Boudlal managed to assert himself with a header to deflect the ball. This gesture, a precise and intentional assist, was not a direct shot but a brilliant “pre-assist” that found Mohamed Meite (Rennes). Well-positioned, he only had to send the ball into the net, bringing the score to 2-0.

On the other hand, the match also saw the participation of Moroccan midfielder Samir El Mourabit in the ranks of Strasbourg. In terms of standings, after this 11th round, Stade Rennais is in 10th place in Ligue 1. Despite the defeat, Strasbourg currently remains in 5th position in the championship.
