The Moroccan attacking midfielder Hossam Essadak has officially signed with FC Lausanne-Sport, coming from Union Touarga, thus taking a new step in his young career. The Swiss club has finalized the transfer of the 21-year-old player, considered one of the great hopes of Moroccan football.
Trained at the Mohammed VI Academy, Essadak made a name for himself with Union Touarga, where his performances in Botola Pro caught the attention of several European clubs. Lausanne-Sport ultimately secured the deal, convinced by the technical potential and quality projection of the Moroccan attacking midfielder. Discussions between the two clubs had resulted in an agreement in recent days before the official announcement this Friday.
As a Moroccan international, Hossam Essadak has also shone with the Lionceaux de l’Atlas. World U20 champion with Morocco, he was previously named man of the match during the U20 AFCON semi-final against Egypt and was included in the tournament’s best XI, confirming his status as a great talent of his generation.
This signing marks a first experience in Europe for the young Moroccan, who will discover the Swiss Super League wearing the colors of Lausanne-Sport. The club hopes that his creative profile and room for improvement will allow him to establish himself quickly and continue his development at the highest level.
