Sofiane Boufal will not continue his adventure with Le Havre AC. Arriving last January from Union Saint-Gilloise in Belgium, the Moroccan international announced his departure from the Normandy club through a message addressed to the Le Havre supporters, following a season that ended with HAC’s survival in Ligue 1.

In his message, the former player of Angers, Lille, Southampton, Celta Vigo, Al-Rayyan, and Union Saint-Gilloise expressed his gratitude to the fans at Stade Océane, the club, the staff, his teammates, and the sports management. Boufal praised the six months spent wearing the Le Havre colors, stating that he enjoyed this brief adventure. He also summarized his time with a strong phrase: “Survival is assured, the mission is accomplished.”

On the field, Sofiane Boufal brought his experience and technical quality during an important period for Le Havre. Since his arrival, the Atlas Lion has played 17 matches, with a record of one goal and four assists. These figures reflect his influence in the Le Havre offensive sector, particularly in the final stretch of the season.

This departure now opens a new chapter in the Moroccan’s career. At 32 years old, Boufal remains an experienced and creative profile, capable of making a difference between the lines. After achieving his goal with Le Havre, the Moroccan international must now decide on the next steps in his career.
