The match between Morocco and Brazil is already transcending the realm of sports. Just days before this highly anticipated fixture of the 2026 World Cup, the encounter was mentioned during Apple’s annual conference, the WWDC, held at Apple Park.
During a demonstration dedicated to the new features of Siri and Apple Intelligence, the American company used the Brazil-Morocco clash as an example to illustrate the organization of an evening around a World Cup match. Apple’s assistant notably suggested preparing a “watch party” by recommending iconic dishes from both countries.
This reference, even if indirect, confirms the growing interest surrounding this match in Group C. Morocco, a historic semi-finalist in the 2022 World Cup, will kick off its 2026 World Cup campaign against one of the giants of world football, Brazil.
This fixture, scheduled for June 13 at MetLife Stadium, is set to be one of the first major events of the tournament. For the Atlas Lions, this duel against the Seleção will represent a high-level debut, as well as a new opportunity to confirm their place among the great footballing nations of the world.
