Yanis Erraddaf chooses Morocco: “A choice of heart and conviction”

At just 20 years old, Yanis Erraddaf, a player for Montpellier Méditerranée Futsal, has decided to represent Morocco, despite being called up by the French national team. On his Instagram account, he explained:

“After deep reflection, I chose Morocco. This decision is driven by the heart but also by the efforts of the FRMF to develop futsal and the unwavering support of the Moroccan people.”

Morocco, ranked 7th in the FIFA standings and reigning African champion, stands out as one of the top nations in futsal. In the last World Cup, the Atlas Lions put up a strong fight against Brazil, the eventual world champion, in the quarterfinals. Erraddaf hopes to contribute to this success and proudly represent Morocco on the international stage.
