The Moroccan futsal team began its journey at the Islamic Solidarity Games 2025 with a draw (2-2) against Iran on Monday in Riyadh. This was an encouraging start against the 5th-ranked nation in the FIFA standings, just ahead of Morocco, which is ranked 6th.

The two goals for the National Team were scored by Bilal Bekkali and Soufiane Chaaraoui. The Atlas Lions had to come back each time after trailing 0-1 and then 1-2, demonstrating great determination and strong team cohesion.
