Yanis Begraoui found the back of the net with Estoril on Monday night, on the pitch of Benfica during the 4th round of the Portuguese championship. Starting at the forefront of the attack, the Moroccan international reduced the deficit in the 82nd minute, although he could not prevent his team’s defeat (2-1).
While Estoril was trailing after goals from Vangelis Pavlidis (40th) and Clément Lenglet (51st), Begraoui reignited the match late in the game. Served by Fernando Medrano, the Moroccan striker placed a shot past Samuel Soares to bring his team within one goal.
However, Estoril was unable to equalize in the final minutes. Begraoui, who played the entire match, now has a total of two goals in four rounds of Liga Portugal after his goal against Famalicão in the season opener.
