Saibari made a perfect start to his Bundesliga career. Coming on in the 62nd minute during Bayern Munich’s commanding victory over VfB Stuttgart (5-1), the Moroccan international provided two assists to kick off his season in the league.
With Bayern leading 3-1, Saibari first made a great run through the opposing defense before setting up Aleksandar Pavlovic, who scored Bayern’s fourth goal in the 82nd minute. In stoppage time, the former PSV player then found Luis Díaz, who netted the final goal of the match in the 90+2 minute.
Bayern opened the scoring with Dayot Upamecano in the 21st minute before Josha Vagnoman equalized shortly after the break (52nd). Michael Olise quickly restored the lead for the Munich side (55th), and then Vagnoman scored an own goal three minutes later. Saibari then contributed to the scoreline with his two assists.
