The future of Anass Salah-Eddine at AS Roma seems to be moving away from the Italian capital. According to information from the Italian press, the Moroccan left-back will not be part of the group selected by Gian Piero Gasperini for the training camp taking place in Wales from July 31 to August 8.
Instead, the Atlas Lion will continue an individual training program at the Trigoria sports center, while the Roman leaders are working to find him a new destination. This decision confirms that the 24-year-old player is no longer in the plans of the Italian coach for the 2026-2027 season.
Back in Rome after a one-season loan at PSV Eindhoven, Anass Salah-Eddine was not retained by the Dutch club, which chose not to exercise its purchase option. Despite notable performances with the Moroccan national team during the 2026 World Cup, he reportedly did not convince Gian Piero Gasperini to offer him a place in his squad.
