Azzedine Ounahi continues to make an impression in Greece. Starting on the bench against Kifisia this Wednesday in the Greek Cup, the Moroccan international midfielder completely changed the course of the match after coming on, helping Panathinaikos secure a 2-0 victory.
Substituted in at the 64th minute with the score still 0-0, Ounahi needed only a few minutes to make a difference. In the 76th minute, he converted a penalty awarded to his team, opening the scoring with a shot that deceived the Kifisia goalkeeper.
The Atlas Lion did not stop there. In the 89th minute, he scored his second personal goal, putting his team safely ahead. With this double, the Moroccan was the sole scorer of the match and the key player in the Greens’ success.
This performance comes just a few days after his first goal of the season in the league against Panetolikos. Ounahi is thus confirming his excellent start to the season since returning to Panathinaikos.
