Already brilliant in the Champions League, Osame Sahraoui once again proved his importance to LOSC by scoring a brace in the Dogues’ 4-1 victory over AS Saint-Étienne on Matchday 20 of Ligue 1.

Trailing from the 6th minute after a penalty from Davitashvili, Lille equalized through Jonathan David (32’, pen). The game took a decisive turn after Batubinsika was sent off (48’), creating more space for the Dogues. Sahraoui capitalized on this advantage, first finishing off a well-constructed move initiated by David (63’), before scoring a stunning goal with an exquisite first touch inside the box (78’). In between, Gudmundsson also found the net (72’).

With this victory, Lille temporarily climbs to 4th place, driven by a confident Sahraoui, who is becoming increasingly indispensable.
