In the final hours of the Libyan transfer window, Asswehly SC officially announced the arrival of Hamza El Janati, captain of Maghreb de Fès. The 26-year-old right winger is now exploring a new league after several seasons in the Botola.
With 5 goals and 1 assist in 25 matches this season, El Janati established himself as a key player for MAS. He will now look to shine in his new colors in Libya.
With a game in hand, Asswehly SC is in second place in the Libyan league, three points behind the leader of Group C, Al Olympic Zaouia. The league consists of 35 teams divided into four groups based on geographical criteria, an organization aimed at reducing travel costs for clubs due to the lack of sponsorship to cover them.
