Despite this early lead, Hatayspor quickly responded with an equalizer from French-Algerian player Bilal Boutobba in the 33rd minute. However, En-Nesyri reclaimed the advantage just before halftime, delivering the match-winner with a powerful header during first-half stoppage time.
