El Ouazzani says no to Algeria again!

The Moroccan U-23 international Amine El Ouazzani, who joined SC Braga this season after transferring from Guingamp, is having an impressive first season.

His performances have been so convincing that he hopes to be called up by Walid Regragui for the Moroccan national team. However, competition in attack is tough, with three strikers regularly called up and in great form, not to mention the new arrival in Europe, Hamza Igamane.

In this context, El Ouazzani is also being courted by the Algerian Football Federation (FAF), as he is eligible to represent Algeria through his Algerian mother. The FAF has made several attempts to persuade him to change his sporting nationality, but without success.

The Moroccan forward, who won the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations with the Moroccan U-23 team, has once again rejected these approaches for the third time. He stated that he will wait as long as necessary for a call-up to the senior Moroccan national team. Will the next gathering bring news?
