Moroccan international Brahim Diaz played a key role in Real Madrid’s qualification for the Round of 16 in the Copa del Rey. Facing the modest Club Deportiva Minera, the Merengues delivered a dominant performance, securing a comfortable 5-0 victory thanks to an impressive team effort.

Starting under Carlo Ancelotti, Brahim Diaz stood out by providing a brilliant assist for Luka Modric’s fourth goal. In the 55th minute, Diaz combined with the Croatian in a series of quick passes that dismantled the opposing defense. Modric, perfectly set up, finished calmly with a precise strike, leaving the Club Deportiva Minera goalkeeper helpless. This action showcased the talent and vision of the Atlas Lion. Diaz, who put in a solid performance, was substituted in the 65th minute.

The other Real Madrid goals were scored by Federico Valverde (5’), Eduardo Camavinga (13’), and Arda Güler (28’, 88’). This emphatic win underscores the superiority of the Madrid side against lower-division opposition and allows them to move confidently into the Round of 16. With his contribution to this match, Brahim Diaz continues to prove he can play a significant role in the Madrid squad.
