Ayyoub Bouaddi continues to find his footing in the colors of Manchester City. Starting on Thursday night against Norwich City in the Carabao Cup, the young Moroccan international played the full match in the Citizens’ commanding 5-0 victory and provided an assist.
Positioned in midfield, Bouaddi made his mark in the 32nd minute. The Moroccan found Rayan Cherki in the gap with a pass that bypassed the Norwich defense, allowing the Frenchman to finish and score Manchester’s second goal. City was then leading 2-0, just a few minutes after Floyd Samba opened the scoring.
Bouaddi remained on the pitch for the full 90 minutes and contributed to Manchester City’s collective control. His performance was well-rated by statistical platforms, notably receiving a score of 8.2/10 on FotMob, which also credited him with two key passes creating chances.
Having already started in the Champions League against FC Porto a few days earlier, the Lion of the Atlas is thus making another significant appearance since his arrival in Manchester.
City continues its journey in the Carabao Cup and will face Brighton in the next round.
