The VfB Stuttgart continues its progress in the Europa League with a convincing 4-0 victory against Go Ahead Eagles at the De Adelaarshorst stadium in the Netherlands during the 5th matchday of the competition. This was a thoroughly controlled win, highlighted by another decisive performance from Moroccan international Bilal El Khannouss.

Jamie Leweling quickly put Stuttgart on track by scoring a brace in the 20th and 35th minutes. After the break, El Khannouss extended the lead in the 59th minute, before Badredine Bouanani capped off the offensive display in stoppage time (90’+3).

This success allows the Germans to gain valuable points in the race for qualification and confirms their positive momentum on the European stage.

An impressive start to the season

Transferred to Stuttgart this summer, Bilal El Khannouss already boasts remarkable statistics with the German club: 5 goals and 4 assists, including 3 goals in European competitions. Additionally, he provided two assists earlier in the season with Leicester City, before his arrival in the Bundesliga.
