The name of Azzedine Ounahi continues to be mentioned in the Netherlands. Marco Timmer, a journalist from Voetbal International, believes that PSV should still make an important signing before the transfer window closes and considers the Moroccan international as one of the top profiles being evaluated by the Eindhoven club.
In the podcast Skiete Willy, Timmer confirmed that Ounahi and Quinten Timber are on a list for PSV, despite an already well-stocked midfield. “Ounahi and Timber are big names,” the journalist emphasized, expecting the Dutch management to make further moves to strengthen their squad.
These statements mainly confirm that the qualities of the Girona player are appreciated at PSV. However, they do not mean that the club has reactivated its interest. Voetbal International had indicated that interest in Ounahi was not currently relevant, particularly due to strong competition in midfield. No offers or concrete negotiations have been announced.
Ounahi thus remains a monitored option rather than a priority target. A development remains possible if PSV frees up a spot in their midfield, but no factors currently suggest an imminent transfer.
