Ayoube Amaimouni-Echghouyab has returned to the field with Eintracht Frankfurt. The Moroccan international participated on Saturday in his team’s victory against Hull City (2-0) during a friendly match held at the maxworx Sportpark in Dreieich.
Notably, the two teams played two periods of 60 minutes. Amaimouni made his appearance in the 112th minute, replacing Jean-Mattéo Bahoya, thus taking advantage of the final minutes of the match to regain his competitive rhythm.
The young Moroccan had resumed collective training earlier in the week after enjoying an extended rest period following his participation in the 2026 World Cup with the Atlas Lions. He rejoined the group at the same time as Arthur Theate and Elye Wahi, who were also involved in the World Cup.
On the field, Eintracht Frankfurt made the difference thanks to Jonathan Burkardt, who scored the opening goal in the 56th minute, before Love Arrhov extended the lead to 2-0 in the 88th minute. The German club continues its preparation with a fourth consecutive victory in friendly matches.
This first summer appearance is an important step for Amaimouni, who will now seek to accumulate playing time and gradually regain his full condition before the start of official competitions.
