Amrabat to Betis: A Transfer Still Far from Secured

Real Betis wishes to retain Sofyan Amrabat beyond his loan, but several obstacles are currently hindering a definitive operation. Arriving last summer from Fenerbahçe, the Moroccan midfielder has impressed the Andalusian staff with his impact and consistency. However, his signing remains contingent on economic parameters that are difficult to align.

    Price Too High for Betis

Fenerbahçe has set the price at 12 million euros to release their player. This amount is considered excessive by Betis’s management, whose financial maneuverability remains limited. The Spanish club is considering entering negotiations to revisit this figure, but there is no guarantee that the Turkish club will agree to lower its demands.

Amrabat’s Salary: Another Point of Tension

Beyond the transfer, the salary of the Atlas Lion represents another hurdle. For the operation to succeed, Amrabat will likely have to make a financial concession. The Moroccan midfielder wishes to continue his adventure in La Liga, but his retention will inevitably depend on a revision of his earnings.

The possible qualification of Betis for the Champions League could facilitate discussions, but it will not be enough to balance the financial arrangement without a concession from the player.

Already a Notable Contribution in Spain

Since his arrival, Amrabat has participated in 9 matches with Betis. His activity in the heart of the game and his ability to stabilize the midfield have strengthened his status, making him a priority target for the Andalusian club.

It remains to be seen whether the three parties will reach an agreement. Between sporting ambitions and budgetary constraints, the Amrabat case promises several more weeks of discussions.
