The Atlas Lions kick off their CAN 2025 campaign this Sunday, December 21, against Comoros, in the opening match of the competition at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat, as part of the first day of Group A. The matchup has generated massive excitement: on the official CAF ticketing site, the sales phases are fully booked, indicating a night expected to be sold out.

Before the kickoff, the CAN will open with its inaugural ceremony at 6:30 PM to officially launch a month of continental football at home. The match itself will start at 8 PM, in an atmosphere that supporters hope will meet Moroccan ambitions from this first outing.

In terms of broadcasting, the match will be available on a wide network of channels, both in Morocco and internationally. In Morocco, SNRT will provide coverage via Arryadia TNT and Al Aoula. In France, the live broadcast is set on beIN SPORTS 2, with additional coverage by beIN SPORTS MENA for the Maghreb/Middle East region. In Africa, Canal+ Afrique and Canal+ CAN are among the listed broadcasters. In Europe, the CAN benefits from several territorial agreements: Channel 4 (UK/Ireland), Movistar Plus+ (Spain), Ziggo Sport (Netherlands), and Sportitalia (Italy), confirming the strong media exposure of this Moroccan edition.
